About New Promise Counseling Center
Who are we?
New Promise is a nonprofit charitable organization dedicated to providing Mental Health Counseling services to the community of Central Florida. Our counselors are fully qualified, Florida State licensed with a minimum of a Masters Degree of training. We provide specialty counseling for marriage, family, children, as well as, individual counseling for most needs. Local churches, individuals, and organizations partner with New Promise to help provide scholarships for individuals and families experiencing financial hardships.

Why are we different?
New Promise Counseling is a component of new Promise International Inc, a nonprofit international organization committed to serving people in some of the most desperate situations of life. New Promise is different because we clearly see the realities of the human condition. Whether in West Africa or Apopka, we all share the same longings and desires of life. Putting these into perspectives helps to give our counselors a unique understanding of where we are and where we need to go in life. New Promise is different because we are driven to reach out not just to the wounded and struggling but to the least of these in our community who deserve a hand of hope in difficult times.
What we do?
We offer Mental Health Counseling and Life Coaching for families and individuals. Our specialists have post graduate training and certifications in grief, trauma, anxiety, depression, sexual abuse, children, children with behavioral issues, adoption issues, marriage, and many others. Our psychological theories are based on a combination of Objects Relations (relational) and Cognitive Behavioral (behavioral). Our Christian perspective on psychology is that it is a God created science of the mind in the same way that cardiology is God’s science of the physical heart. As Christ came to offer freedom and requires us to “serve one another so that we know who we belong to” New Promise Counseling is here to serve and to offer freedom in the midst of darkness.”
